FABRA I COATS
Literal PRO will take place in the old industrial area of Fabra i Coats. At Carrer Sant Adrià 20 in Barcelona. Fabra i Coats is an old factory that hosted important workers’ struggles during the 1970s. It has been reclaimed as a public space for the community.
Brick textile factory built in the 1910s. The industrial complex of La Fabra i Coats, which occupies an area of just over three hectares, is made up of buildings of various types and chronologies. Barcelona City Council acquired the complex in 2005 to use it for educational, associational, healthcare, housing, car parks, green areas, the Creation Factory and the Industrial Heritage Work Interpretation Center.
